Inspiration
Today hosting and managing an event are far more complicated for customers and finding the right event management agency is also difficult due to lack of options and knowledge. On the other hand, for Event management companies’ perspective, getting the right amount of exposure in the market is a challenge because of high level of competition. As a result: a. From a customer’s perspective there is possibility of shortcoming in planning and execution even after investing significant amount of time. b. Customers must go out to reach multiple different service providers like food, decoration, music, lights for arranging an event. c. From an agency’s perspective, lack of proper exposure in competitive market and lack of open channels to reach out to different segment of customers.
What it does
“EventEasy” an event management platform which bridges the gap between Event management companies and Customer. The application lists all the event management companies who registered themselves broadcast their services, benefits and offers. The application will allow customers to find out the right company and generate quote specifying the type of services are required. After submission, the customer receives the quotations from different available agencies. The customer can book one of them. This will allow customer and the agency to finalize the detailed facilities of the event. Once the event has been successfully hosted, the final & complete payment will be made by the customer.
How we built it
a. The application is built on vanilla Pega 8.7. b. Using Case management in Pega we have designed the end-to-end business transactions between agencies and customers. c. Using Pega’s create PDF and send Email shapes, we have generated Invoices and send them to recipients respectively. d. Send via DocuSign shape for e-Signatures is used for signing the contract between agency and customer.
Challenges we ran into
a. Creating dynamic operators during Agency and Customer registration. b. Implementation of DocuSign for e-Signatures.
