Event Bot for Slack

Event bot will provide event coordination and social capabilities delivered via. natural chat.

Concepts:

• Events – conferences, user groups, natural disasters.
• Generalized – Event bot will make some event assumptions such as that an event will have a schedule, attendees, individual schedules for attendees, vendors or staff, rooms, and sub events. Because the system will be generalized and built on Docker, it can be rapidly deployed with little overhead.
• Extensible – The data models and platform will be totally extensible allowing for event custom tailoring.

With even bot running a consumer will be able to ask questions such as:

• What is my schedule for today?
• What is next on my schedule?
• Where is session xyz?
• Where are my colleagues?
• What time is lunch?
