Project Story: Event Organizer App (Eve's)
Inspiration
The inspiration for Eve's came from the struggle of event organizers to effectively showcase their events and attendees’ difficulty in finding relevant ones. We wanted to build a simple, efficient, and interactive platform where users could seamlessly browse, create, and manage events, eliminating the hassle of fragmented event management tools.
What It Does
Eve's enables users to:
✅ Browse and search events by category, location, and date
✅ Create and manage events effortlessly
✅ Connect with others through built-in chat functionality
✅ Authenticate securely with Supabase integration
Whether you're an organizer showcasing your past events or an attendee looking for your next experience, Eve’s makes event management effortless and engaging.
How We Built It
- Frontend: Flutter (Dart) for a smooth, cross-platform experience
- Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Authentication, Storage) for real-time data management
- State Management: Currently using setState (considering Riverpod/Provider for scalability)
