Evaltrack-Personalized Tutoring & Adaptive Learning

Inspiration

Traditional examination systems often face challenges in personalized learning, timely feedback, and monitoring student progress. We were inspired to create EvalTrack to make assessments more secure, organized, and supportive of student learning.

What it does

EvalTrack is an online examination and student evaluation platform that enables teachers to create exams, manage assignments, evaluate student performance, and monitor examinations through proctoring features. Students can attend exams, view results, submit assignments, and manage their profiles.

How we built it

We developed EvalTrack with a responsive web interface, a secure backend, and a database to manage users, exams, questions, results, and assignments. We implemented role-based access for administrators, teachers, and students, along with authentication, examination management, and proctoring features.

Challenges we ran into

Our main challenges included implementing secure authentication, managing different user roles, maintaining accurate examination records, integrating camera-based proctoring, and ensuring smooth coordination between the frontend, backend, and database.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully developed an integrated platform that brings examinations, assignments, evaluation, and proctoring together in one place. We are proud of creating a system that simplifies academic management and improves transparency in student assessment.

What we learned

We gained practical experience in full-stack development, database design, authentication, access control, API integration, and building real-world applications. We also learned the importance of usability, security, and reliable data management in educational platforms.

What's next for EvalTrack – Personalized Tutoring & Adaptive Learning

Our future plans include personalized learning recommendations, adaptive assessments based on student performance, AI-assisted feedback, progress analytics, and customized practice materials to help students identify knowledge gaps and improve their learning outcomes.
