Ev Link

EV Link was inspired by the rapid growth of electric vehicles and the challenges EV users face in finding reliable and accessible charging stations. We observed that many drivers experience range anxiety due to uncertainty about station locations, availability, and charging times. This motivated us to develop a smart, user-friendly solution that connects EV drivers with nearby charging stations and supports the transition toward sustainable transportation.

We built EV Link as a cross-platform mobile application using Flutter and Dart to ensure smooth performance on both Android and iOS devices. The system integrates real-time location tracking, smart search functionality, booking options, and secure digital payments. The architecture follows a client-server model represented as 𝐴 𝑝 𝑝 → 𝐴 𝑃 𝐼 → 𝐷 𝑎 𝑡 𝑎 𝑏 𝑎 𝑠 𝑒 App→API→Database, which ensures efficient communication, scalability, and organized data management.

Throughout the development process, we enhanced our technical skills in mobile app development, API integration, database design, and UI/UX principles. We also improved our teamwork, debugging, and problem-solving abilities. Some major challenges included integrating real-time map services, managing dynamic station availability updates, and ensuring secure payment processing. Through continuous testing, research, and optimization, we successfully addressed these issues. EV Link represents our commitment to innovation and smart mobility solutions
