🌱 Inspiration

We were inspired by a simple, frustrating reality: most people want to give, but they don’t trust where their money goes.
Charities struggle to show real-time impact, and donors feel disconnected after giving. We wanted to rebuild that trust and make giving feel good again.

🔧 What It Does

Eunoia is an AI-powered giving platform that:

• Matches donors to aligned causes using smart agents
  
• Tracks donations transparently via blockchain
  
• Turns updates into emotional, shareable stories
  

This creates a double feedback loop:

⚙️ How We Built It

We used:

• Aptos for secure, on-chain donation tracking
  
• AI agents (Gemini + fine-tuning) to power our Compass recommender system
  
• React for the frontend
  
• Lovable to prototype the emotional storytelling layer
  
• A lightweight backend for impact verification and metadata mapping
  

We also created a live visual model of the emotional intent system:
heart-strings-compass-flow.lovable.app

😅 Challenges We Faced

• Scoping a complex full-stack platform into a short timeline
  
• Balancing AI narrative generation with blockchain traceability
  
• Finding the right way to visualize impact without overwhelming donors
  
• Building with just 2 of us onsite (Jimmy on dev, Alex on pitch/story), and 1 person remote (Randy on AI/ML)

• Solo or small teams can build big things with the right tools and vision
  
• People don’t just want transparency — they want to feel something when they give
  
• Clear storytelling and intentional tech choices matter more than flashy demos
  

🙌 What's Next

We’re launching our public beta, onboarding more charities like MEDA and GreenCheck, and improving our AI Agent fullstack, Compass.
We’re also looking to partner with incubators who believe in ethical AI and purposeful giving.
