Inspiration
We took inspiration from eSports and websites such as https://playerslounge.co/ where you can earn money by playing video games online.
What it does
This is an eSports app where you stake ETH to enter a tournament and if you win you earn prizes.
How I built it
This was built in react and integrates torus for payments making a very easy user flow. You can login with all your standard social media logins ( google, twitch etc) and deposit money through torus then stake your eth to enter a game (only chess implemented right now) and it'll match you with another player and if you win the prize pod is sent to the winner (with a small commission taken to run the tournament).
Challenges I ran into
We are new to solidity so building the smart contract was the most difficult challenge.
