Inspiration

The Ethical Shopping Chat Agent was inspired by a deep dive into Levi Strauss & Co.'s complex supply chain. After 5+ hours of research, I realized how difficult it is for consumers to get transparent information about the products they buy. This tool aims to bridge that gap and empower shoppers to make informed, ethical decisions.

What it does

Our chat agent leverages advanced functionalities to provide you with comprehensive and up-to-date insights on the ethical practices of companies and products you care about. It provides personalized inquiries, effective research, omprehensive Summaries, and ethical evaluations and recommendations

How we built it

Leveraging the serverless architecture of Google Cloud Functions, we engineered a robust pipeline to unlock ethical shopping insights. The system dynamically extracts relevant text from a vast repository of company consumer reports, sourced through the power of Google's Custom Search API. This modular design not only ensures rapid response times and efficient resource utilization but also facilitates seamless adaptation to evolving data sources and consumer queries.
