Team EtherReg is building on top of the Harbor R-Token Standard to move the rules and compliance requirements around trading securities directly onto the blockchain.
We have built a prototype that shows how security issuers can set up a smart contract that acts as a Regulator Service.
A corresponding ERC20 R-Token may then be deployed to reference this Regulator Service and enable access controls around who is allowed to trade and own the token.
By leveraging standards in the blockchain ecosystem, we feel we can help Security Tokens to flourish on Ethereum and unlock mainstream adoption of security tokenization.
