Inspiration

The concept of "flow" in nature and magic inspired us to create a game that explores various forms of flow, such as time, energy, water, life, and light. We wanted to craft an immersive experience where players can manipulate these flows to solve puzzles and restore harmony to a mystical world.

What it does

"Ethereal Flow" is an adventure-puzzle game where players guide Elara, the guardian of the Ethereal Stream, through different regions to restore the disrupted flows. Each region represents a unique flow concept, featuring distinct puzzles and challenges that require creative problem-solving and the use of Elara's magical abilities.

How we built it

We built "Ethereal Flow" using Unity, leveraging its robust tools for creating visually stunning environments and smooth gameplay mechanics. Our team collaborated on designing the game's unique regions, puzzles, and storyline, ensuring each element cohesively fit into the overarching theme of flow.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was designing puzzles that were both challenging and intuitive, ensuring they fit seamlessly with the flow concepts. Balancing the game's difficulty to provide a satisfying experience for players of all skill levels also proved challenging. Additionally, creating a visually cohesive world that represented various flow concepts required meticulous attention to detail.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the immersive world we've created, with its unique regions and captivating puzzles.
