Planning trips to your local airport can be one of the most stressful parts of any travel plan. Between the constantly-changing airport traffic and unpredictable flight arrival times, it's difficult to know when to head for the airport.
Introducing "eta," an Amazon Echo skill that makes planning your trip to the airport as easy as possible. All you need to do is say "Alexa, ask Just Landed: track flight AA123." eta will then give you updated time of arrival for that flight number, calculate when you should leave for the airport from home, and even send you a reminder text message when it's time to hit the road. eta even takes current traffic conditions and flight delays into consideration.
How does it work? eta interfaces with the American Airlines, Google Maps distance matrix, and Text Magic APIs to give the Amazon Echo the information it needs to make your life easy. The result is an audible and SMS reminder for when you need to leave for the airport. The SMS text message send to your phone even includes the fastest route to the airport based on your current location.
