Inspiration

During the covid I had some experience with the analysis of time series data. After learning about the Engie Solar Project I thought this would be a cool experience and opportunity to learn some new skills and networking.

What it does

ESPA: Engie Solar Power Analyzer

How we built it

ESPA has both front end and backend applied with the new Taipy web application library. I also implemented the Auth0 authentication for secure login on ESPA.

Challenges we ran into

The most challenging part was the data pipeline. As I am new to using Taipy, it took me quite sometime to learn how to use the data from Engie's solar data server. Other than that the web application development was fun and an skill I learn here. Thanks to Taipy it was smooth once I understand how the api works.

I am excited about the front end of my application.

I will continue working on the project and host my web application for others to see and get encouraged.
