Using Arduino and a set of other materials (listed below) we will create an ambilight sound visualizer that essentially changes colors depending on the sound signals it receives from a TV/computer. By April 3rd, we aim to have the entire setup, and we will work on the code and the final touches for the project to be ready by April 17th (such as adding the visualizer to an appropriate enclosure like a piece of acrylic). We will need: resistors, capacitors, a breadboard, double sided tape, wires, a trimpot, pushbutton, LED RGB stops, Arduino board, and a SparkFun sound detectors. No soldering should be necessary for the project.
