Inspiration
People often lose track of the expiration dates on their food/ingredients in their fridges, causing them to eat or cook with expired food. So, we decided to create FridgeAlert to help people track the expiration dates of their ingredients/food.
How we will built it
We will build FridgeAlert by designing a camera system that can scan barcodes of products. The expiration data will then be stored in a database. Fridge Alert will also send alerts to the user when expiration dates are approaching.
