Inspiration
We were inspired by the lack of efficient parking systems in the US; due to the sheer number of cars in our cities, we feel that parking needs to be streamlined and made easier. Thus, we came up with ParkingSpotter.
How we'll build it
We will utilize a raspberry pi and image recognition with a camera to detect whether a parking spot is empty or full. This data will be displayed in an LCD screen as well as an IoT dashboard on a mobile device.
