ESE 1110, Team 01, NARC

NARC stands for "Not an Autonomous Radar Car" (though it literally is) The vehicle utilizes ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles on either the front or the sides and drive away from them.

Inspiration

When Professor Deliwala showed us the Duckietown project, we were extremely intrigued. However, the kit arrived a little late and we had to improvise. We created the NARC to learn about ultrasonic sensor technology. Needless to say, we are proud to show our project to the world. Though less complex than the Jetson Nano-powered Duckietown, the NARC is our debut into autonomous vehicle technology.
