Inspiration

My inspiration for the Funhouse came from childhood memories of going to the carnival and playing in the funhouse. My inspiration for, “GET DAT CLOWN,” came from a movie from my childhood, “Killer Clowns From Outer Space.” My inspiration for, THE DINOSAUR PARKOUR,” was Jurassic Park/World inspired. I wanted to create something on the outside of the funhouse that people can play and also enjoy before entering the funhouse and after leaving the funhouse.

What it does:

Upon entering the world you will see clowns popping out around the outside of the funhouse, grab a Clown Blaster and Blast some Clowns. After you finish blasting clowns you can enter the Funhouse. Once you enter The FunHouse you have to go through each room until you make it to the end of the maze.

How we built it:

I created a draft of what I wanted to put into the funhouse. I designed a layout of what I wanted the redesigned Volcano room to become, and I created and detailed the room bringing The Dinosaur Parkour to life. Using 3D Models/Mesh within Meta Horizon Worlds. The 2D clowns were created on Copilot and paint.net to cut them out, and the confetti particle effect gizmo. I currently did a small update in The Playroom as well.

Challenges we ran into:

Getting the Clown Blaster to work in uniform with the Clowns. Having the Clowns bursts with confetti when the balls hit them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

I am very proud of myself; because, I am learning new things everyday, especially every time I enter one of these competitions. This experience has expanded my creativity.

What we learned:

What I learned is building a game for mobile users to enjoy is not easy, but through patience and determination anything is possible.

What's next for GET DAT CLOWN FUNHOUSE ESCAPE ADVENTURE

The next step is to create a carnival world to go with The Funhouse. What’s a Funhouse without a Carnival to go with it? In the near future creating additional rooms and attractions.
