Escape from Section 16 is a mobile game for the android platform inspired by the idea of teaching programming to those with little or no experience. In the game, the user selects a difficulty and a type of language they want to learn, then the game automatically generates a random maze of variable size depending on difficulty for the user to navigate through. At certain points, the user will be stopped and be asked a multiple choice question. We have a scoring algorithm that rewards fewer wrong answers. Once the user reaches the end of the maze, they can save their high score in a local high scores table.
