What it does

The TARIS project is able to determine the optimal timeline for production of the parts that go into the assembly of a spacecraft, such that it has minimal impact on the environment.

How we built it

By collecting several data regarding the emissions of CO2, CO, NO2, CH4 in the areas where production plants are located, we determined a combined metric which helps determine the time when the impact of making a part that goes into a rocket is minimal.

What's next for esa_taris

A predictive model to determine future the measurements of emission values of greenhouse gases in the areas of the production plants is halfway here already. This way, one can determine a future timeline for building the next spacecraft in a green way.
