Inspiration

As a senior data engineer, I've spent countless hours deciphering error messages, feeling stuck as if I'm not moving forward. It's like being in a maze, knowing there's an exit but hitting dead ends. I wanted to create a tool that would help not just me, but all developers to spend more time building and less time troubleshooting. That's where my inspiration for Error Detective was born.

What it does

Error Detective is my sidekick in the coding world. It's like having a wise mentor who points out where you went wrong and nudges you in the right direction. You tell it the error, and it hands you back solutions. It turns the hours you'd spend troubleshooting into minutes, freeing you up to focus on the real deal—making cool stuff.

How I built it

Building this app was a journey of its own. I tapped into my experience, the patterns I noticed over the years, and started coding a solution. I wanted it to be flexible, understanding any programming language I threw at it, just like a polyglot friend who’s got your back.

Challenges I ran into
