Inspiration
ERP FALCON FINANCE was inspired by the need for a modern, Arabic-first cloud ERP platform that enables businesses to manage accounting, finance, sales, and daily operations from a single system.
Many existing ERP solutions are either expensive, overly complex, or not optimized for Arabic RTL users. The goal of this project was to build a professional ERP system with a clean user experience, accurate financial calculations, and a scalable architecture suitable for businesses in the Middle East.
What it does
ERP FALCON FINANCE is a cloud-based ERP platform that helps businesses manage their financial and operational activities.

The system is designed so every financial document is validated and connected to the accounting system automatically.
How I built it
I built ERP FALCON FINANCE using OpenAI Codex as my primary AI-assisted development environment.
I was responsible for defining the business requirements, designing the accounting workflows, reviewing the generated code, testing every feature, identifying issues, and refining the application through continuous iterations.
The application was developed using modern web technologies including:
- Next.js
- React
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- Supabase
- PostgreSQL
- SQL Migrations
- PostgreSQL RPC Functions
Throughout development, I continuously tested the application in the browser, refined the user interface, improved financial calculations, validated accounting logic, and ensured every workflow behaved correctly before moving to the next module.
Challenges I ran into
Developing a financial ERP system presented several technical challenges.
Some of the most important challenges included:
- Designing a professional Arabic RTL interface.
- Supporting both percentage and fixed-amount discounts.
- Keeping all financial calculations accurate.
- Preventing invalid accounting transactions.
- Synchronizing invoice calculations between the frontend and backend.
- Building reusable financial components.
- Managing Supabase database migrations safely.
- Creating automatic journal entries after saving invoices.
- Building responsive invoice layouts without horizontal scrolling.
- Handling product image uploads inside invoice items.
Every issue was solved through repeated testing, debugging, and UI refinement.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud that ERP FALCON FINANCE is much more than a visual prototype.
The project already contains real accounting logic, database-backed financial modules, automatic calculations, invoice validation, and accounting integration.

- Implement server-side financial validation.
- Improve Arabic RTL user experience.
- Structure complex financial calculations.
- Use AI-assisted software development effectively while maintaining full review and testing responsibility.
The project also demonstrated how AI development tools can significantly accelerate software engineering when combined with careful planning, testing, and human oversight.
