Equiterra Store - Project Description

Inspiration

Marie and I love horses and taking care of animals. She makes natural clay treatments for horses by hand, and she's really good at it. We noticed that many horse owners couldn't find good products for specific horse health problems, and the ones available were too expensive. We wanted to help horse owners get better, cheaper treatments for their animals.

What it does

Equiterra Store sells handmade, natural clay treatments for horses. Marie makes each product by hand using her knowledge of horse care. We focus on problems that other companies ignore. The website also teaches horse owners about natural treatments and helps them save money on horse care.

How I built it

I built the whole website myself from scratch. I didn't use any templates because I wanted it to be perfect for our business. I made sure it was easy to use and showed off my wife's products well. The site works on phones and computers, and I added information to help people learn about horse care.

Challenges I ran into

• Turning Marie's horse knowledge into simple website words
• Teaching people about clay treatments when most use regular products
• Building everything myself without using ready-made tools
• Making sure we follow all the rules for animal products
