EquiPay - A salary transparency platform

Describes gender pay gaps and provides an overview of pay across the different companies. We provide a place to view the salary provided by different companies gender-wise, which helps us better understand the disparity in the pay provided. We also aim to provide a forum where employees belonging to different companies can express their thoughts. Employees will also be able to publish their salary anonymously which will help us create charts that can be used to visualize trends and differences in salary for each company. This hackathon and the project we worked on turned out to be a joyful but stressful experience. Since our team consisted of first-time hackers, we were a little inexperienced when it came to working in a limited time. However, we pulled through and although our project wasn't perfect, we learned a lot and also got to experiment with different styles and ideas. Integrating the frontend and backend was the most challenging experience because the frontend and backend were distributed among the team to facilitate faster development.
