What it does
Offers a quick, free diagnostic from the comfort of the user's home.
How we built it
We used Android Studios with Java to create the application.
Challenges we ran into
We had difficulty finding / working with large amount of data and determining how to cross-reference symptoms with potential disease based on user age / gender.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Created a functioning app that is a great base to implementing a complete project with a little more time and understanding.
What we learned
We learned that working with large amounts of data is difficult and requires careful planning prior to implementation. We also learned basics of Android Studio functionality.
What's next for Epico
In the future, we plan on improving this app to complete a fully-functioning software that can successful diagnose a user with strong data support.
