Inspiration
At EnzeOne we strive to make the world a better place. Reducing the waste of food is often overlocked, but is actually a rather simple task with a big impact. With our solution we want to help people enhance sustainability in their life, without them even realising.
What it does
We truly believe that customer-centricity is the main driver for a successful product adoption. Therefore we looked at the customer experience from two sides: First, we re-thought the entire user journey and identified pain points to then develop easy-to-use and customer-centric processes. Additionally, the recommendation engine has been redefined and a self-developed multi-stage algorithm implemented to ensure correct and personalised meal suggestions.
How we built it
During the development process, we have leveraged a two-sided approach to ensure maximal customer-centricity. One team focused on creating an interactive UI for a seamless and joyful user journey. The strong emphasis on an intuitive experience can be felt throughout the entire sign-up and "preference understanding" process. Another tandem took a deep-dive into the backend and developed the state-of-the-art recommendation engine based on adjusted choice-based conjoint algorithms (aCDCA) to guarantee optimal meal suggestions based on historic orders and especially the personalised preference profile of each user.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of our fantastic team work. Throughout the entire hackathon we had always had a great collaborative environment in our team room. The "Fun-Breaks" taking place every 3 hours for 15 minutes ensured sufficient time for rest during the very intense weekend.
