Inspiration

Everyday we make several decisions. But here's one thing that we don't realize: how each decision impacts our lives and the environment. We unwittingly make several wrong decisions: and one of these 'wrongs' are decisions that are not sustainable. Envware, short for environment aware helps users understand how their everyday decisions impact the environment (and the human race at large). Envware presents a lucrative way to users for reducing their carbon footprint: by telling them to make savings! Just like you know: we love making savings! Envware suggest users to walk more, shower less and so on, which not only helps users' reduce their carbon footprint, but at the same time, it enables users to save cash and remain healthy. This is how envware promotes sustainability.

How this was built

This app is a prototype built using Adobe XD

Challenges

For the most part, it was easy to build the whole thing: but building cards and custom widgets was quite a challenge: especially because this was my first go at Adobe XD (and a hackathon!)

What's next for envware

Envware will be built into a real app and then we'll see if we can get some smart IoT devices ready for envware to work!
