Inspiration
We want to promote users being good to the environment, also linkedin messaging kinda sucks so we're trying to improve it
What it does
Messaging system informs the user of what word choices result in the most responses with a built in AI that tell you carbon emission of any car.
How we built it
We first spent 8 hours trying to import a file that wouldn't import. Then after the advice of an organizer we pivoted. With hardwork, as beginner engineers, we made our own AI system that predicts the carbon emmmission for any current and future car. We also created a messeging app that stores data in twillio and reports it back to the user.
Challenges we ran into
Importing libraries that weren't compatible with our laptop.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of learning. Half our team learned how to code in python yesterday. Going from that to a fulling working AI was very rewarding.
What we learned
In programing hardship is guarantied. You have to learn to pivot and grow as a programmer.
What's next for Envo
Expanding on this network to create an environmentally friendly professional messaging service, helping people learn and understand how to network best.
