Our Mission
Inspiration
What Inspired me to do Envo is the total unrecyclable waste that is being produced each day in our economy. I really wanted people to learn about the impacts waste and not recycling things has on our lives.
What it does
Envo is a web app with an interactive part that will guide users on how to live a zero-waste lifestyle. In the simulation, there are 2 options per scenario in which the user has to choose the right decision.
How we built it
Envo is built using replit and I used Javascript, HTML and CSS to make this product.
Challenges we ran into
The most challenging part as a beginner in coding is the functionality of javascript. What I learned from this is that even taught it was a small mistake it made a huge difference.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am really proud that the web app is simple and user friendly
What we learned
I learned a lot about how aligning elements is very important and along the I learned new skills and strategies.
What's next for Envo
In the feature, Envo will have more simulators that guide users to a zero waste lifestyle and a place for people to connect and interact.
