Inspiration
• There are lots of people who want to contribute some money to environmental social groups but because of fraud, they can't spend that money.
• They also don’t know where is their money is, how they are going to use their money. Also don’t know who is the right group to give their money. There are many chances of fraud.
• Also social workers don’t know how to get funds for their work. Because of a lack of funds, they aren't able to do such things.
What it does
• In the EnvNet web Platform, we have 2 different login Roles for Sponsors and Social workers. They can choose their roles in registration.
• Here sponsors can allocate money in different installments to any social environment group (which is not funded) and can see social worker's blogs and works.
• Sponsors can track where their money is being used. This is the feature that will overload the frauds i.e., social workers have to share their work to get remaining funds. After every work, sponsor can approve the social worker's remaining installments.
How we built it
Used MERN stack components for website and Heroku & Github to Deploy and host.
Challenges we ran into
We faced some issues while creating 2 different profiles for Sponsors and Social workers. But was able to solve the issue with our team effort.
What's next for EnvNet
- A feature to be added where multiple sponsors could be assigned to multiple workers who'll work as a group unlike how one-to-one sponsors and workers are added now.
- Another community feature is to be added where new users can ask for suggestions, get help, and people can pick up someone from the community & assign them if they like their attitude.
- A rating and review section is to be added so that sponsors can easily identify well-reviewed workers.
