Inspiration
Many goal-tracking apps have also become a form of social media. We want a platform where people are not compared or judged by their friends and can focus on their tasks, not work tasks. So, this is a safe space for everyone.
What it does
Our platform provides a supportive environment that allows you to journal your thoughts and feelings while also writing about your progress on your goals, set regular goals, and write to your future self.
How we built it
We built it through Google Sites, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges connecting the front end and backend design/functions and encountered problems with putting in our goal tracker functions. We also ran into issues with sending a letter to a future date.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our website design, and our journaling software.
What we learned
We learned a lot about how to code in HTML and how to create a functional website.
What's next for Envisionary
Next for Envisionary, we plan to expand the features such as goal tracking by adding reward badges and making our letter to the future more functional. Additionally, we would like to make a user login so the experience is more personalized.
