EnviroPal

Inspiration

We noticed that environmental issues are becoming more prevalent now as they are all being shown through several media outlets. Therefore we decided an app would be the best way to reach out to the younger generation and our peers to inform everyone in an interactive way on how to get involved in helping the environment.

What it does

This app informs everyone in an interactive way on how to get involved in helping the environment. It includes a chatbot, games, map with volunteering opportunities, and a shop to purchase eco friendly products.

How we built it

We used multiple apis

Challenges we ran into

An API we wanted to use would not work, and our chatbot took hours to work( didn’t work till today morning haha)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our favourite part of the app is the map! We found the process of collecting the data really fun and presented it in a nice visual way.

What we learned

This was all of our first time making an app. We also learned how to work under pressure and problem solve in a short amount of time.

What's next for EnviroPal

We’re taking to the market! Woohoo
