Inspiration
The increasing deforestation inspired us to make ENVIRON. People should realise the need for taking outmost care of nature, for survival on Earth is not possible without trees!
What it does
ENVIRON is a web app which recognises the number of trees in a given area. Recognising the area with greenery can help us in several ways like- 1: The house vs tree ratio. 2: The ratio of planted and unplanted land. 3: At very far sight it gonna help us in knowing the pollution and carbon sink in the particular area.
How we built it
We used the following technologies: Tensor flow OpenCV Pre-trained model Flutter,HTML,CSS,DJANGO Invision for - Prototype We are actually taking reference from several articles of google and other search engines. We are also taking some theory data which tells about the average Carbon sink by a defined area of trees. We are also using a pre-trained model from tensor flow using semantic-segmentation.
Challenges we ran into
Being a tensor-flow beginner and debugging the errors was tough.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing the project before the deadline.
What we learned
We learned to use technologies like Open CV and Flutter.
What's next for Environs
Enhancing the UI for more affective use and having an error-free working!
