Environmental Potential

Inspiration

We were inspired by the potential many homes had to help stop Global Warming.

What it does

Our project uses the address inputted and tells the user how much rainfall they could collect yearly along with how many kilowatts they could produce yearly if they added solar panels. As an extra bonus, we included how many metric tons of carbon dioxide these solar panels would prevent yearly.

How we built it

We built it using API's where we got our data from.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the challenge of paid API's however we were able to move past that when we made text files instead just to show the proof of concept.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our teamwork as well as getting past some hard issues. We both faced many challenges and by talking it out together, we were able to solve these problems.

What we learned

We learned the value of talking to each other and bouncing off ideas. There are always multiple different ways to reach a solution and it just takes time and patience.
