How inspiration was other simple websites that queried complicated information and showed it in a simple way to the everyday user.

What it does

Based on the address, city, state, and zipcode, either a red, yellow, or red circle will appear on the electricity useage, on the air quality, and the co2 emissions.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and Javascript to query the internet using HTTPS using JQuery.

Challenges we ran into

A lot of internet challenges such as CORS, incorrect API usage, API keys not working were some of the most notable issues we faced. Some of us also did not know all the information of how to accomplish this, so it was a challenge to learn everything in a couple of days.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to get APIs working and finish the project to the point where it can be used by other people.

What we learned

We learned a lot of internet networking concepts, especially HTTP with its error codes.

What's next for Environmental Location Facts

We will continue to include more APIs in order to better show complicated environmental data in a fashion where the user can quickly understand.
