Environment Simulator 3000

Inspiration

We always hear about how little actions can add up to effect the environment, but how much does it really? With this project, you can see how your daily life decisions affect the environment, for the better or worse.

What it does

This presents you with several choices that you are likely to make in your day to day life, and explains at the end how they can affect you or the environment.

How we built it

We came to this event with the plan of using Svelte for it's amazing reactivity, and memoization, and we were not let down. We saved significant time by standardizing the format for each choice and actions.

Challenges we ran into

We faced issues with CSS and responsive design, as our images would sometimes be too large or too small.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• We built it and didn't run out of time
• We learned many new things about Svelte in the field
• We had fun ## What we learned We learned many new things about Svelte, including more memoization features than we planned to use. One of us also used Typescript for the first time and absolutely loved it! ## What's next for Environment Simulator 3000 Adding more scenarios, fixing some image scaling issues, and describing in more detail how you can keep the environment a great place.
