Inspiration
Too many children are uneducated about the environment. To breed the next generation of eco-aware individuals, we were inspired to create a platform to provide the necessary education.
What it does
EnviroKids is an online gaming platform with educational, environmental-based games designed to raise social awareness for environmental issues among children, by teaching them eco-friendly activities they can carry out on their own.
How we built it
We used Bootstrap 4 to create the website and used various software such as UXPin and more to work on the various games.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges we ran into were prototyping some games for the website and ensuring they work properly. We had to brainstorm to make sure they were games that children would be excited to play.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of having coded several games for our website, as well as designing a functional and visually website in such a short time frame.
What we learned
We learned that environmental awareness begins with children and that children are the key to the future.
