Inspiration

We were interested in trying a project that we hadn't done before.

What it does

This extension will randomly select one of the facts that we have selected to display so that you can learn a little more about the environment and be more aware of the world around you.

How we built it

We built this using html and js.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was an unsafe inline error that had to do with security issues and the way that we were calling a function from our js file to our html file.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we overcame the inline error and were able to ultimately use our function and the button to click through some different facts.

What we learned

We learned how to make a chrome extension. None of us had done this kind of project before so this was a fun learning experience.

What's next for Enviro Facts Chrome Extension -

If we were to do more adjustments in the future, I think it would be interesting to be able to pull from more sites and perhaps encourage the user to go make a difference in the world around them.
