Global increases in anthropogenic pollution emissions have led to occasionally dangerous changes in air quality globally. This created a need for an openly accessible, expandable, and impenetrable pollution monitoring system that could be used by government agencies and public. All of the mentioned are fulfilled by blockchain. Our prototype shows that, despite the cost of storage and transactions on a blockchain, a blockchain-based solution for a pollution monitoring system is feasible, and that such a solution could address data dependability issues that are still present in groundwater and pollution monitoring. The front end uses the same web 3 library as other applications in terms of layout. With the aid of blockchain technology, the information is safeguarded on the back end. Every single district is regarded as a block, and each block is added to a chain with the aid of the public ledger in order to safeguard the data. The D-apps are installed, and the groundwater and pollutant levels are monitored.
