I present Peanuts, a baby entertainment app that helps out babysitters and parents alike.
What it does
It listens to babies and "talks" back to them. Once the baby gets tired of talking, Peanuts plays a sweet, tranquil lullaby, Baby by Justin Bieber, to put them to sleep. [File not included in GitHub[
How I built it
I built a web app using Javascript and some audio libraries.
Challenges I ran into
My main obstacle was Javscript syntax because I was not familiar with it. Building my app required a lot of googling and debugging.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
My main goal at PennApps was to learn Javascript and build a web app for the first time. I used different packages to input, output, and edit sound in my web app.
What I learned
I now know the basics (and hopefully some advanced parts) of Javascript.
What's next for Entertain Me
Video features! Use Angular.js to have cleaner and more organized code.
