Inspiration

We received this project from one of the sponsors, and we decided to implement a backend to be run in a local plane server and a web app to connect to this server for in-flight entertainment (movies, music, games...)

What it does

The main feature of the project is the fact that you can watch a movie with other people on the plane at the same time, play a video game against them or create collaborative music playlists.

How we built it

We chose to make the backend in GoLang, a language with the cutest mascot, and MongoDB. The frontend web app has been made in React. The thing is that we have never used these technologies before, and we chose them as a challenge and as a learning opportunity.
