Inspiration
The inspiration for ennovatex came from the lack of proper administration and digitized learning experience and lack of digital tools to drive deeper understanding of general education and STEM education. This lack is suffered by most school within sub-saharan Africa. I remember growing and not having a digitize archive for my secondary school result and performance.
What it does
Ennovatex is a school management and digital learning platform that connects and allows principal, teachers, student and parent to interact. It allows teachers to send course work and assignment to student online, while student complete and submit back to the teacher via the platform, also the principal can receive lesson note from teacher and approve it and the parent can receive the result or academic report of their children, in order to track their academic excellence and also make payment of school fee on the platform.
Ennovatex allows for a central and free flow of data, learning materials and resources between school owner, principal, teacher, student and parent. .
How I built it
It was built during this hackathon by team members with counsel from the mentor Edwin.
Challenges I ran into
Getting to work with different developer by proxy within a short period of time.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
As a team we are proud that the framework for ennovatex have been develop and we can easily build on it after the hackathon
What I learned
We've learnt awesome things which include understanding of how to set proper structures to support seamless sharing of data and workload
What's next for ennovatex
We are taking ennovatex to the next level, incorporate the idea, get funding to develop the project, patent it, accelerate it to a startup status and scale it into a global entity.
