Inspiration
I was inspired to create this website because I believe that renewable energy is the future of our planet. I wanted to create a platform where people could learn about, explore, share, and create renewable energy projects. I believe that this website can help to make a difference in the world by inspiring people to take action on climate change.
What it does
This website provides a platform for people to learn about, explore, share, and create renewable energy projects. The website features a directory of renewable energy projects, project profiles, a project forum, and a project submission form.
How we built it
I built this website using React Js and typescript. React Js is a popular open-source library for Javascript web development. I used React Js because it is well-documented and easy to use. I also used a variety of third-party libraries, such as Tailwind-css and Firebase for backend.
Challenges we ran into
Some of the challenges I ran into include finding latest resources and projects that use renewable energy. There is no single, comprehensive database of renewable energy projects. This makes it difficult to find projects that are relevant to your interests or location.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of the fact that I was able to build this website from scratch. I also learned a lot about Typescript and third-party libraries in the process.
What we learned
I learned a lot about Typescript, React Js and third-party libraries while building this website. I also learned a lot about renewable energy. I am now more confident in my ability to build web applications, and I am more knowledgeable about renewable energy.
What's next for Ennovate
I plan to continue to add new features to the website, most especially improve the chat section. I also plan to promote the website to a wider audience so that more people can learn about and use it.
