📖 The Enneagram & Tritype® Book – A Mirror for the Soul
🌟 What Inspired Me
I wrote this book because I spent most of my life feeling invisible.
I was misdiagnosed, misunderstood, and unseen. I was told my pain was psychological — when it was physical. I was told I was "too much" — when I was just too much for a system that didn't know how to see me.
But when I discovered the Enneagram, everything changed.
The Enneagram didn't label me — it mirrored me. It showed me that my patterns, my fears, my desires were not flaws — they were part of a deeper structure. And when I discovered Tritype® — the idea that each of us uses three types from the head, heart, and gut centers — I finally saw the full picture.
I realized: if this mirror helped me, it could help others too.
So I wrote the book.
🧠 What I Learned
| Lesson | What It Taught Me |
|---|---|
| You are not broken | The Enneagram shows that your patterns are not weaknesses — they are survival strategies. |
| You are not alone | Everyone has a type, a tritype, and a set of archetypes. We are all in this together. |
| Seeing is healing | When you see yourself clearly, you can make conscious choices. You stop reacting — and start living. |
| Depth takes time | The Enneagram is not a quick fix. It is a lifelong journey. And that is okay. |
I also learned that writing a book is not just about words — it is about structure, clarity, and truth. Every chapter had to reflect the depth of the system, while remaining accessible to someone who has never heard of the Enneagram.
🛠️ How I Built the Book
| Phase | What I Did |
|---|---|
| 1. Research | I studied the 9 Enneagram types, the 27 Tritype® archetypes, the 3 centers (head, heart, gut), subtypes, and countertypes. |
| 2. Structure | I organized the book into clear sections: each type, each tritype, each archetype, with practical insights and reflection questions. |
| 3. Writing | I wrote the book in Dutch and Polish — with an audio function in both languages. |
| 4. Design | I added Bible verses to each chapter — a spiritual anchor for those who seek it. |
| 5. Translation | I translated the key concepts into 7 languages (Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese). |
| 6. Publishing | I made the book available online, with a preview on CodePen and a full version for readers. |
⚔️ The Challenges I Faced
| Challenge | What I Learned |
|---|---|
| 1. Complexity | The Enneagram and Tritype® systems are deep. Simplifying them without losing their essence was a constant balancing act. |
| 2. Language | Translating the book into multiple languages while keeping the emotional and spiritual depth intact was a challenge — but AI helped me bridge the gap. |
| 3. Doubt | There were moments I asked myself: "Who am I to write this book?" But I realized — I am someone who has lived it. That is enough. |
| 4. Time | Writing a book while building an app, submitting an XPRIZE, and running a vereniging was overwhelming. But I learned to trust the process. |
| 5. Perfectionism | I had to let go of the idea that the book had to be perfect. It had to be honest. And that is enough. |
📐 Mathematical Insight
The Enneagram can be modeled as a 3-center system with 9 types and 27 Tritype® archetypes.
Let:
- ( H ) = Head center (Types 5, 6, 7)
- ( C ) = Heart center (Types 2, 3, 4)
- ( G ) = Gut center (Types 8, 9, 1)
Each person has a unique combination:
[ \text{Tritype} = (h_i, c_j, g_k) ]
where ( h_i \in H ), ( c_j \in C ), and ( g_k \in G ).
This yields:
[ |\text{Tritype}| = 3 \times 3 \times 3 = 27 ]
27 archetypes. 9 types. 3 centers. 1 mirror.
🪞 Final Reflection
"This book is not a test — it is a mirror. You don't pass or fail. You see."
The Enneagram & Tritype® book is not just a guide to personality — it is a guide to freedom. It helps you see your patterns, understand your fears, and choose your growth.
And that is what I want to offer to the world.
