Inspiration

During this pandemic, we faced a problem with how to sync and figure out what all assignments are given by professors. We always used to miss deadlines. It was a chaotic mess. Then we found that others are facing the same problem as well. So, we came up with the idea of making a distributive management system that will serve as a system to get on the track of that all assignments that are pending.

What it does

In ENLIST, all you have to do is add a task. It will automatically get synced in everyone's task list. So, no need to hassle around asking which assignments are due. You can simply check it on the Android app or Website.

How we built it

We started with a basic task management system in our mind and gradually, we added feature by feature by implementing feature-driven development.

Challenges we ran into

All CRUD operation at shared task list was applying for all but we want to restrict to only update and delete feature that was giving us hard time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Shared task list feature on an upper edge.
  • Successful real-time integration of web and android on a common database.

What we learned

We learned how to integrate the web and android platform with a common database and run real-time updates.

What's next for Enlist

[ ] Include File system. [ ] Support for private rooms. [ ] Try our Enlist without any login process. [ ] We have plans for releasing this as an open-source project.
