Ever wished there was a way you could easily keep track of recommendation letters? Now you can! Whether you are a student or a teacher, EnjoinMe seeks to enhance your professional relationships by creating a platform for secure recommendation requests, transfer, and storage.
How it works
Students can request recommendations from their professors. Their professors get a notification of the request and can upload their letters. Students receive notification that their professor submitted their recommendation letter and are unable to view it and can forward them to any institution they desire.
Challenges we ran into
Deploying to a server, using cyberduck and database issues!
Accomplishments that we are proud of
Successfully managed to send a request and maintain storage of recommendations.
What we learned
How to use the SendGrid API. How to connect web view to android. Using bootstrap, python, pycharm, html, & CSS.
What's next for EnjoinMe
Creating an option where faculty have the ability to give students reading access to the letters. Expanding features on mobile view.
