Inspiration
Before getting a new Idea for the society as a solution we need to be faced to a problem . the one we noticed while discovering the city of TOKYO: is the time wasted in front of red lights while there are no cars on the road (especially at a late time ). So as participants in the Hackathon we engaged to solve this issue so the passengers can cross the road faster.
What it does
It implements an AI system that can analysis/react autonomously, Based on the data Analyzed from Google’s map. It permits to passengers not to waste time. indeed the system is going to have a positive impact on human’s life by avoiding especially time lose and gaining money.
How we built it
1)Hardware: Using multiple Electronic devices: Node MCU, a Motion sensor ( Pire HCSR 501), 2 Led, 2 Resistances, BreadBoard. 2)Languages: Javascript,C. 3)API : -GoogleMapDistanceMatrix -Nexmo SMS Messaging -Twilio
Challenges we ran into
Being in Such a big Hackathon for the first time besides Travelling (Algeria). The choose of the idea after the stage of brainstorming. Establishing good communication between Database with API’s implemented and the electronic system. The Restricted time and its management.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Make it possible and join The hackathon. Learn how to build a team and to establish goals in a short period. Establish communication between the Database and The Electronic System.
What we learned
Brain Storming before getting into a project. Time management. English Conversation with native speakers and Teamwork. Using Rakuten's API for the first time. Firebase implementation to an electronic system.
What's next for Enhanced Trafic Light
Continue learning in order to enhance this system and looking forward to its realization in real life to ensure development in people’s lives, so the AI will be treasured and not feared by humanity.
