Inspiration
I wanted to make it effortless for anyone to build their personal brand using video. Short-form content is powerful, but many professionals struggle with what to say, how to record, and how to make their videos engaging. This project automates the entire process from coming up with an idea to something that you can post on your LinkedIn.
What it does
The platform prompts users with an AI-generated voice to guide them through recording a 60-second video. After recording, it helps them:
- Edit the clip
- Remove filler words automatically
- Style subtitles design
How we built it
Frontend: Next.js, TailwindCSS Backend: Node.js, OpenAI Hosting & Infra: Vercel Video Processing: FFmpeg, Remotion AI: Deepgram and OpenAI
Challenges we ran into
- Cutting out filler words without making the audio sound unnatural took the most time
- Being able to show live preview
- Designing an intuitive UX for first-time video creators
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Building an AI agent that dynamically adjusts prompts based on user responses
- Creating an automatic filler word detection and removal system
- Making the video editing experience seamless for non-technical users
