This project makes use of the R language to parse and visualize a year's worth of historical data from the University of Iowa's main and Oakdale campuses, provided by Engie. R was chosen for its versatility in working with datasets as well as its large and robust visualization library "ggplot2". The results are presented in an RMarkdown file, which provides integration between R code alongside Markdown formatting to produce visually appealing reports. The focus of this analysis was the relationship between various factors and total greenhouse gas emissions. Factors included proportion of gas purchased vs generated, proportion of emissions from each fuel source, and total amount of emissions by fuel source.
