Enforce The Lockdown!

Inspiration

Although lockdown is used primarily as a reference to the quarantine in a battle against COVID-19, lockdown has other meanings, which this project uses. The first definition of lockdown on Google is about containing prison riots, which is what this project is about.

What it does

In this project, you should try your best to catch the prisoners with your handcuffs on your cursor. The prisoners are rioting and are attempting to escape. You, being assigned the warden, you are paid $25 for each prisoner you catch.

How I built it

I used remove.bg to remove background and zapsplat for some mp3 sounds at first, before using scratch sounds.

Key Features

• Barriers that can be bought using your money • 2 classes of prisoners: Runners and Dodgers • Runners run fast but blindly, making them easy to catch • Dodgers move slow, but cautiously, trying to dodge your cursor • This allows for a distraction which allows other prisoners to escape • If they leave without being caught, you lose.
