Inspiration

I made this tool because my family couldn't find any information about home energy costs on Zillow, Redfin, etc, and it screwed me over when we moved into our new apartment and found out I had a $370/mo oil bill after we signed the lease.

How it works

Currently the tool looks at tax assessor information such as age and home size to estimate the energy usage of the home. We then model the energy usage of the home using energy rating software to estimate the consumption.

Zillow's API is horrible

I didn't know how to code this time last year. Now I can hack stuff together!
